Overview
This is a factory sealed Ledger Nano S Plus in the purple colorway from the Ledger x World of Women collaboration. Never opened. I’m selling five of them from my personal collection, exactly as they arrived.
About This Edition
Yam Karkai, the artist behind the World of Women NFT collection, collaborated directly with Ledger on this device. Ledger distributed it through its Quest platform in January 2023: holders of a WoW or WoW Galaxy NFT connected their wallet, completed a short wallet-security course, and were entered for a chance to win one.
The 1,200-unit total covers every colorway in the giveaway combined, purple included - none of it went through a store. Winning was the only way in.
That quest program is no longer running.
Why Collectors Are Interested
Getting one meant already owning a World of Women NFT and then being selected in the giveaway - two gates most retail buyers never had to clear. It’s a different kind of scarcity than a low print run: fewer eligible people, not fewer units made.
Purple turns up more often than some of the other colorways from this giveaway, which is part of why five sealed units from the same source are available here together.
Condition
Factory sealed. Shrink wrap intact. Never opened, never plugged in.
Stored in a private collection since acquisition.
Notes
If you plan to use one, the firmware will need updating on first connection, since these have been sealed since 2023. Normal for anything stored this long - not a defect.
