Ledger Nano X Black on Black (Ledger Market Genesis) Edition

Overview

This is a factory sealed Ledger Nano X in the Black on Black colorway, redeemed through Ledger’s own NFT-gated Market program. Never opened. I’m selling three of them from my personal collection, exactly as they arrived.

About This Edition

In October 2022, Ledger airdropped a redemption NFT to everyone holding its Market Pass - Genesis Edition NFT, based on a snapshot taken October 17. Each NFT could be traded in for one Black on Black Nano X. Redemptions opened November 3, 2022, through Ledger’s own Market site, and the NFT was destroyed the moment it was redeemed.

9,370 of these redemption NFTs existed in total, which caps how many Black on Black units could ever be claimed this way.

Ledger’s shop still lists the Black on Black colorway on its own, but this specific Market-redemption version - tied to the Genesis Pass airdrop - is no longer available.

Why Collectors Are Interested

This edition is tied to a specific, one-time redemption event, not an ongoing retail colorway. The NFT-to-device exchange, with the NFT burned on redemption, gives it a documented and traceable origin most branded editions don’t have.

With a hard cap of 9,370 possible redemptions, and no way to mint more, sealed examples become a fixed, shrinking pool over time.

Condition

Factory sealed. Shrink wrap intact. Never opened, never plugged in.

Stored in a private collection since acquisition.

Notes

If you plan to use one, the firmware will need updating on first connection, since these have been sealed since 2022. Normal for anything stored this long - not a defect.
