Ledger Nano X GensoKishi Edition

Overview

This is a factory sealed Ledger Nano X from the GensoKishi collaboration - a Ledger x Genso co-branded box, released in December 2022. Never opened. I’m selling it from my personal collection, exactly as it arrived.

About This Edition

GensoKishi Online -Meta World- is a Japan-based blockchain MMORPG. In December 2022 it partnered with Ledger on a limited device featuring a logo design and signature from artist Yoshitaka Amano, known for his character art on the Final Fantasy series.

The device wasn’t sold directly. Buyers first purchased a “Ledger Nano Sword” NFT on the GensoKishi Marketplace, which converted into a trade ticket redeemable for the physical Nano X. Only 80 units were made available, at 200 USDT each.

Ledger does not sell this edition, and the NFT redemption window closed after the initial December 2022 launch.

Why Collectors Are Interested

With only 80 units produced and distribution tied to a one-time NFT redemption rather than a public sale, this is one of the narrower Ledger collaborations to track down. The involvement of Yoshitaka Amano, a recognizable name from decades of Japanese game art, adds another layer collectors outside the GensoKishi community may recognize.

Finding one factory sealed, years after a redemption-only drop like this, is uncommon.

Factory sealed. Shrink wrap intact. Never opened, never plugged in.

Stored in a private collection since acquisition.

Notes

If you plan to use this device, the firmware will need updating on first connection, since it has been sealed since 2022. That’s a normal consideration for any device stored this long - not a defect.
